Nellie's Ark is my most recently developed game, released in November 2016.
In Nellie’s Ark, a fresh, whimsical and musically meditative block-clearing game, you’ll delve into the vibrant and retro-inspired world. Playing as Nellie, an adorable emoticon, you’ll move her from side to side to hit the ball and adapt to the changing block formations and colour schemes within the game.
Musically driven, the game’s soundscape evolves depending on Nellie’s colour and continually changes as the game unfolds. The beautiful music and percussive sound effects join forces to cultivate a personalised musical soundscape.
Starting simply and building in complexity, complete 63 levels across 7 worlds with 14 sets of collectables to unlock. Each set of collectables reveals a line from an original inspirational poem, adding an unexpected touch.
A new perspective on an old classic, Nellie’s Ark will delight with its simple gameplay, colourful modern art, and meditatively fun nature.
• Vibrant, colourful, handcrafted levels
• Relaxing, percussive soundtrack
• Smooth, and intuitive in-game controls
• Simple and striking art style
• Original inspirational poetry

I really want to do an official google doodle some day so I went ahead and sketched through completion an idea I had for one. Maybe it could have been used for one of those space or planet-discovery related days haha. I really am happy with how this ended up; being hand painted as opposed to just straightforward vector.
Fellow SCAD alum and current students were invited by our dear professor Dom to contribute 3 second animations towards a tribute after the Paris attacks this year.
My friend Timothy Skinner roped me in to collab with him on one. For our contribution, we decided on smoothly animated, clean modern aesthetic with phonetic and translated french equivalents of the words "we" and "you" respectively. It was great to work so quickly towards such a positive message. :)

I had the opportunity to design and animate a small graphics package for The Daily Dot's upcoming webseries entitled "Bingeworthy".
If Binging were a formula. It would arguably equal content/ time, measured in episodes per hour or "eph" (metric system) haha . The challenge was to represent the pulling of the plug from the almost automatic stream of readily available content and carefully consider what is Bingeworthy. Each colour corresponds to a popular and current video streaming solution.
This is a small mobile app that I released in 2015.
A relaxing experience that asks you to be patient with it. A moment of respite in your pocket.
The Substance of Things is an experiment. It is part living wallpaper collection, musical white noise and test of endurance. It is an encouragement to hold faith through trying, often ambiguous situations.
Pay close attention and it will reveal itself to you. Patience and diligence will give way to results.
“Now Faith is being sure of what we hope for; believing that which we cannot see. "

CoMotion is a two day conference in which our major's club, Momelove, invites industry professionals down to do portfolio reviews, give presentations and participate in panel discussions. It is also the time of the year where we host a department wide student showcase.
For this year's direction we really wanted to step away from the previous years' tone and emphasize fun, simplicity and approachabliity in our celebration of design and animation.
"The Opening Titles for CoMotion 2014 celebrates the love, the hard work, and the incredible amount of talent within SCAD’s Motion Media Design department. Apart from being incredibly passionate on their own work, the students are extremely supportive of each other and are actively collaborating on projects. The department, in a way, is a melting pot of diverse and creative individuals which transforms, animates, and contains great potential. This coming together of all styles is a fun piece of cohesive sequences which honors the amazing guests that came to the symposium."

After participating in 2012's Global Game Jam, and due to the largely positive response and encouragement of many of our school mates, my teammates and I decided to pursue our idea to completion in the form of a mobile game (app).
Shapes & Sound: The Shape Shooter is a 2D mobile game all about putting your hand-eye coordination, mental reflexes and periphery vision to the ultimate test. It is, at its core, an Ode to "old school-arcade box in old Mr. Joe's shop down the street-gaming; Think Rock-Paper-Scissors meets Asteroids. The game's minimalistic design and soothing sounds makes it both highly relaxing and highly addicting. You have been warned.
Players interact with an Above Top Secret military console dubbed “The Shape Shooter.” Operating on a system akin to rock-paper-scissors, the central shape is able to switch on the fly in order to be effective against other enemy types. Rack up your high-score as you survive wave after wave of incoming pointed- triangles, hard-as-nails squares and ornery circles.
This is a small social media package I designed and animated for Zip 103 FM's ZJ West.

This is the interior part of a greeting card design I have in the mental chambers. I'll be coming back to it from time to time to do new parts.
I wanted to capture the age old tradition of lovers carving their names into a tree to epitomise their timeless love. The tedious process of carving is represented through designing and hand-lettering the type.
